Things To Do On The Internet Instead of Work #1: ToneMatrix

tonematrixSo my hiatus with the intention of increased productivity is, for the most part, failing miserably. Much of this is due to the Internet, god damn.

So in a new category for updates I’ll share things that have caused me to procrastinate like a… hey, cool, look at that bird.

First up then is ToneMatrix, some sort of awesome 16 step sequencer or something. I’ve no idea what that means, but it’s a pretty awesome distraction if you’re musically gifted. Hell, you can even copy and paste your creations for sharing purposes.

Here’s one to start you off (not made by me): 0,1056,0,640,0,256,0,1088,0,32,0,128,64,16,8,36

Have fun.

Update: Okay, here’s one I made earlier. You’ll agree it’s the most awesome thing you’ve ever heard. I’ll sell you the ringtone version, only £2.99*.

*You’ll be sent a daily ringtone for £2.99 per ringtone, you cannot unsubscribe. Ever.

Ha, that’s rather cool. Now I’m tempted to start my own blog to post random stuff to do rather than actually doing any work. For example: http://www.addictinggames.com/theworldshardestgame.html

I downloaded something like this for my iPhone. It was fun, and I intended on playing more, but I went nuts and just scribbled a bunch of notes all over it … and it crashed my iPhone. I quit out, but then all my sound was gone except for a slow tiny pinging. It was fine after a reset, but you can bet I deleted that app!
